Alión is made of Tinto Fino grapes from vines aged of 25-35 years. It goes through an ageing for 14 months in new French oak barrels. After a light filtration, it was bottled and stayed in the winery's cellar for 18-20 months before being released to the market. A very elegant and classic red wine for ageing.

Colour: Dark cherry colour with violet reflections. Clean and bright wine with a high robe. Slightly coloured tears.
Nose: Clean and very intense nasal aromas which show a good balance between the intense notes of ripe red and black fruit and the nice toasted notes. Abundant spicy nuances (vanilla, nutmeg, pepper) are noticed along with some good notes of tobacco, soft hints of cocoa, a subtle mineral touch and light balsamic nuances which complete a serious, complex and elegant nose.
Taste: It shows a good mid palate with a great load of fruit notes, well balanced with the subtle notes of wood and some spicy hints. Its mid palate is tasty, fleshy and expressive. It has sweet and refined tannins, still quite drying. Good acidity which provides a deep and crispy wine. Long and very persistent finish. One of the greatest Spanish wines.

New vintage of one of the greatest and most demanded Ribera del Duero wines. It is produced by one of the most representative groups in the area: Vega Sicilia.
