Colour: Intense cherry red color with violet highlights. Clean and bright.
Bouquet: Good aromatic intensity, ripe red fruit aromas with an interesting toasted and spicy background. Also fine notes of vanilla are shown.
Palate: Juicy and nice entry. In its unctuous and velvety. Fruity sensations with some tannic nuances. Good acidity and well-integrated tannins.
Vineyard (Spanish): Azpilicueta Crianza is made of the Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%) and Mazuelo (5%) varieties. The grape comes from more than 25 years old vineyards located in the municipality of Fuenmayor.
Wine Making (Spanish): To elaborate it, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25ºC after which it macerates for about 12 days. Completed the winemaking, Azpilicueta Crianza is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels followed by another 6 months in bottle.
