Castillo de Almansa Selección is the flagship of the most emblematic range of Bodegas Piqueras. This red wine is made from a coupage of the 4 grape varieties best adapted to the Almansa area: Monastrell, Tempranillo, Garnacha Tintorera and Syrah.
These grapes are selected in very old vineyards with very poor soils. The wine is then aged for 14 months in new French barrels, resulting in a highly concentrated wine, with ripe berries and lots of spices, with an elegant, silky finish. Castillo de Almansa Selección is ideal for a special occasion in which, for example, you want to combine it with a good roast suckling pig, a good roast lamb and even with a good red meat steak.
