The construction of the winery began in 1991, despite the fact that the foundation of Roda dates back to 1987. The project took place in three phases: the first of which was carried out by the architect Roses and the last and most emblematic one directed by the Llimona Ruiz-Recorder studio. The winery crosses the Ebro river at 12 m. deep. In the 19th century, there was an old cellar that was used in its time to store the wine harvests of the winegrowers in the area, which were later sent to Bordeaux by rail to mitigate the damage caused by phylloxera Philosophy The control of twenty payments vineyards distributed in the best ecosystems in the area, of which the best 17 are vinified each year. The use of old vines as a guarantee of the best quality of Tempranillo and Garnacha. A system of valuing the grapes from suppliers like never before. The harvest in small boxes, the first selection table that was installed in Rioja. Vinification in French oak vats with temperature control. Aging in 100% French oak barrels. The research vocation that allows us to lead international projects through our active R&D department.

- La vendimia se realiza con personal propio de bodega en cajas de 18 kilos. Fermentación alcohólica en tinas de roble francés (con control de temperatura), seguida por una fermentación maloláctica en barrica francesa. Envejecimiento en barricas de roble francés. 40% nuevas y 60% de segundo uso. 14 meses en barrica y 30 meses en botella antes de salir al mercado. Estabilización por métodos naturales y clarificación con clara de huevo.

- Bouquet
- La madera está impecablemente ensamblada, dejando una orla de especias finas y frescas. La fruta recuerda a las cerezas maduras en su punto de sazón. Al fondo aparecen ligeras notas minerales que dan profundidad al vino.
- Palate
- Vino voluminoso, amable, con taninos muy bien trabajados y fundidos. La sensación frutal de la cereza madura se hace más compleja y recuerda el sabor de la pulpa junto al hueso. Se aprecia una mineralidad fresca que nos lleva al recuerdo de una añada excelente con reminiscencias atlánticas. Vino muy largo, complejo, sabroso y elegante.
