Colour: Beautiful cherry red colour with rosy edge. Medium-high robe. Clean and bright.
Bouquet: Intense aroma, with predominance of notes of ripe red fruit in a balsamic, spiced and toasted background.
Palate: In mouth it shows a great structure, it is balanced and silky, sweet tannins with a pleasant final acidity which invites to drink more. The aftertaste is sweet with fruit, menthol chocolate, caramel and coffee notes.
Vineyard (Spanish): Rodezno and Labastida, located between 500 and 600 m above sea level. Age: More than 30 years old. Clay-calcareous soil. Climate Continental-Atlantic.
Wine Making (Spanish): The fermentation was developed at controlled temperature. Then it was aged in American oak barrels. The first year in new oak barrels and the second in 3 year-old oak barrels.
